Add extra notes
Notice the different location of the grey notes in location 2. Although initially, it will look a bit unfamiliar if you have just learned the positions in location 1, but in a very short time it will become second nature. Because you will be playing all the time, these patterns will automatically rest in your fingers' muscle memory. This pattern should embed itself fairly quickly since it is a lovely symmetrical shape!
As in step 1 play the Minor Pentatonic Scale shape first, then individual grey notes, and finally all notes in sequence.
You should find that the main shape you remember is the Minor Pentatonic, and depending on which location you find yoursel, the extra notes should fall into place without having to think too hard.
