The Mode De-coder is essential for soloing and playing notes to a particular mode.The perquisites to use the De-coder is to play Barre chords and knowledge of playing the minor pentatonic scale. Once you select your mode and specific root note you are given 3 location options to solo on the low E string. The modal sound is achieved by playing the character note and chords containing the character note over the root note.
All 7 modes are represented here and your given a chart to locate the root and character note within the minor pentatonic.There is a barre chord chart showing you the options of chords that will be suitable for that specific mode. Great product at a good price.
